Estonian: elanik vs asunik

    Estonian maamurre
    elanik = inhabitant (someone who lives in a certain place)
    asunik = newsettler (someone who moves to live in another place, usually a peasant)


    P.S.! A small bottle of vodka was called "asunik" and a bigger one "riigivanem" = president-primeminister.
