Etre du soir

Bonjour,

Je cherche à traduire en anglais : je suis du soir.

Contexte : lettre à ma correspondante anglaise. Je lui dis que je suis fatiguée cette semaine car je commence mon travail tôt et je suis plutôt du soir.

Tentative de traduction : I am of the evening.

En fait, je cherche au moins une expression équivalente car je ne suis pas sure que celle-ci soit compréhensible pour un Anglais si je la traduis mot à mot.

Tu peux dire night owl (couche tard), ou tu peux lui écrire que tu n'es pas une early riser (lève tôt)

I think I would avoid "of the evening" as is could have negative connotations. You may choose to say, "I'm tired this week because I have been going to work early and I'm somewhat of a night person."

I'd avoid of the evening, given that lady of the evening evokes belle de nuit.

You could say I'm a night owl, I'm a night person, I work better in the evenings/at night... However, to me the most idiomatic way to put it is to use the negative:
I'm not a morning person.
