| I looked up فرقون in Dehkhoda which says it originates from Sogdian فرگون/پرغون for "wheelbarrow", it then refers you to فرگون, that then says it comes from French, and all evidence shows that 'fourgon' is indeed a French word with a similar meaning, so is فرگون/پرغون also a Sogdian word with the same meaning? |
