Could you tell me which of the following two sentences is valid.

I will not offer this food to even my worst enemy.

I will not offer this food even to my worst enemy.

    Either is acceptable, though the first would be a bit more formal. Also, I would add a comma to the second, after the word food.

    Some short adverbs such as 'even', 'ever', 'not', 'never' are more usual before 'to' than after it, so the second one sounds a bit more natural. But both are fine.
