Hi,

Could someone help me translate rush (as in evening or holiday rush). Would ruée du soir et ruée des fêtes do? Or are there more idiomatic expressions?

No rush on this thread :warning:
That's very unusual on this wonderful forum ...
... or did I forget to say please ;) I really can't find it anywhere.

    I'm looking for evening/holiday rush in a restaurant/shop.

    Please & thanks in advance.

    Hi,

One very common way to say evening rush would be heure de pointe du soir. Holiday rush...I'm not sure. I guess one way to put it would be congestion (dans les centres commerciaux par exemple) du temps des fetes.

    Hope this helps
