Examination (medical)

Hello everyone,

Does "examination" (= a close and careful study of someone or something to find signs of illness or injury - Merriam-Webster) sound natural/correct in the examples I made below?

a. My doctor told me that I must have routine examinations every six months, which includes a complete blood test.
b. Anna: John, where were you? John: I was having routine examinations at the hospital. Nothing serious.
c. I had a routine examination last week and it said I'm in very good health.

Thank you in advance!

c is correct and natural. a and b would sound equally natural if you were to change 'routine examinations' to 'a routine examination', and move the bit about the blood test.

I must have a routine examination and a blood test every six months. :tick:
