"I heard you've been to Iran. Do you have any funny or special .... to share with our readers?"

What's the best word to fill in the blank? I can think of these words but I'm not sure they are good.

Experiences, memories, anecdotes ...


It would be great if you could help me with that.

All of those words make sense, GD. I'd probably use "stories" or "anecdotes" if I wrote that sentence.

A story or an anecdote is what you tell someone. An experience is what you have; later, you can talk about it (such as by telling a story or an anecdote). Here, because of the context, any of the three will work. I'd avoid "anecdote" because it refers only to amusing stories, unless you want that kind of story. Some of the best stories about a visit to Iran might not be anecdotes.
