Hi all,
I'm new here, hopefully you can help me with something.
Currently I am working on predicates that express personal tatse, like "fun"and "tasty" in English.
I am really interested in the translations of the following sentences in as many languages as possible:
1. This salad is tasty to me.
2. This roller coaster is fun for me.
In English, 2 different prepositions are used here. How is that in your (native) language?
Additionally I'm interested in your opinions about the issue if sentences 1 and 2 can be followed by:
3. No, it is not
(please judge the equivalent in your own language)
And what if you leave the to/for me part out? Is denial (like in 3) better?
I hope to get a lot of reactions, it would be very useful for my study!
Thanks in advance.
