Expression of disbelief - 'A journalist, like hell!'

English United Kingdom

I am writing a scene where a Portuguese-speaking character expresses his disbelief that another character is who he claims to be. The English would be something like 'A journalist, like hell!' or 'If you're a journalist then I'm a...'
I'm not looking for a literal translation just something short and to the point - Portuguese slang would be great. Do you know of a Portuguese phrase that would be suitable for this situation?
Thank you

Here we'd say - among other expressions:
''Se você for jornalista eu sou um (astronauta, cirurgião plástico, ... )'' anything completing out of your league.

Ah! and welcome to the forums. :)

Podria dizer, também "Jornalista? Faz-me (faça) o favor (prazer)!" ou "Jornalista? (são) petas!/não conte petas!"?

    Hi Anaczz
'Journalist, my ass!' is actually exactly what I wanted to translate. Thank you.
Is this a common Portuguese phrase?

    Em Portugal, também
Jornalista, o tanas! (very common, mild) or Jornalista, o tanas e o badanas!
    Jornalista, o caralho!
(vulgar, but common, as rikki says)
Se tu és (um) jornalista, eu sou o presidente da república (or o papa, o cristiano ronaldo, a sophia loren ... some famous figure of your choice...)
