    Hi everybody!

I used to think that "expression on her(his) face" is correct, but now I see "expression at her(his) face". So when do you use "on" and when "at"?

    Thanks in advance!

Where did you see 'at'? Sounds wrong to me...

Me too. Can you give us the complete sentence in which you saw it. As well as the source and context.

Hmm no, I saw it in a mail sent to by a native speaker. I thought it sounded weird so I googled it and found many results with 'at'. So you're saying all these people are wrong?

Please give us the source of one or two of the examples you found. The complete sentences and the context.

'To' or 'by'? Crucial difference. :D
(Just joking, I know it is an editing error...)

Google is tricky. It is not meant for giving accurate counts.
    Google:
    "Expression at her face"
It says 53,000 hits at the top, but at the bottom it says there are only 5 pages of hits (50). Try to go to the fifth page, and you will discover there are only three pages. It will only show 21 hits.
