extend ... at the high end

"The Integrity server family extends the HP offering at the high end with higher performance and better availability, while maintaining standards-based computing."

This is from a training manual.
I'd like to know what "extend ... at the high end" means.
It seems like an idiom or a stock phrase.

    "The HP offering" describes the line or range of products that HP offers. To extend that line is to add more products to it; to extend it on the "high end" is to add products that are of higher caliber, that have greater capabilities and are perhaps intended for more serious users and want "top of the line"/"heavy duty" equipment.
