I would like to write a description for a pic but I got confused. Is any of the forms below correct?

1. Unexpected eye-pleasing
2. Unexpectedly pleasing to the eye

Number 2 is natural English (although a little pompous, perhaps).

Number 1 would be possible with the addition of 'ly' = unexpectedly eye-pleasing – but it sounds a little more poetic – it's not what you usually expect.
