— Name a detail so bizarre a Skrull could never fabricate it.
Captain Marvel, film

Do you think adding "it" at the end is a mistake? I do.
Thanks.

You're mistaken, my friend. :) (But overall you're 98% on English nuance! )

Note that 'fabricate' is labeled 'transitive' in many dictionaries; look at the examples.

Compare: His passing was gentle; so calm as you could never die,

Name a detail so bizarre a Skrull could never fabricate it.
Name a detail (that) a Skrull could never fabricate it.

    Thank you both.
