faire un point en nombre de

Hello Everyone,

I have been stuck on a seemingly simple phrase for which I will try to describe the context. I am looking at a document that explains the procedure for documenting a testing process. In the procedure, there are graphs, charts and tables used as visual aid. There is a paragraph, followed by a table which summarized the completed documents, broken down into "test groups". The paragraph above the table says this:

Il sera également fait un point en nombre des documents rédigé...

I have come up with:

There will also be numeric summary of drafted documents...

Is "faire un point en nombre" a common term?

I hope I have made a teeny tiny bit of sense.

Je vous remercie d'avance.

    Hi Archilocus,

Que pensez-vous de ma traduction, alors?

I didn't think it was a French term, but I'm not French, so I can never be sure. Since you validated the oddness of the term, unless you think there's a better way to describe what I am trying to describe, I will stick with what I have. Thank you so much for your fast response!

    Merci

J'ai donné à manger cette phrase à Babelfish:
" A checkpoint on the number of recorded documents will be done"
