fairly scream

"Other readers might well think the evidence fairly screams for a causal inference here : ‘More television watching mean less of virtually every form of civic participation and social involvement.’"

To fairly scream is a fixed expression that means "is extremely obvious"; "the evidence leaves us with no doubt", or to use another fixed expression, "is as plain as the nose on your face"

"Parler" seems a bit tame for "scream", can the "faits crient (à haut voix) d'eux-mêmes" or doesn't that make sense?

"parler d'eux-mêmes" is a set expression. I don't think "crient" would be understood.
