Fairly-well-to-do-artistes

A few days ago I inquired about the translation of <<Fairly-well-to-do-artistes. The translations discussed were close but missed the tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. Today I stumbled on <<le nanti>> which actually translates as <<well-to-do>>. Add artistes and fairly I have <<les-nantis-assez bien-artistes>>. I just don't feel that the construction is correct. Is there a better order of words?

Egeuele I think you have le mot just. Translated back to English it says <<Artists rather well-to-do>> but the sense of the translation does give us The<< rather-well-to-do-artistes>> I'll take it. That's what I'll use and post it to a flash card. Thanks And thanks Sneaky to you.
