Not noticing the oil spilled on the hall floor, I walked and fell on the floor and on my hip; thus, hip is sore and hurting for the last four days.

My problem is with the string of words which are in bold format. Those words are meant to convey the meaning that I fell on the floor(1) and on my hip (2) (the part that touched the floor). Please help me rewrite the above sentence.

You could just say you fell on your hip, because it would be implied that you fell on the floor.

Not noticing the oil spilled on the hall floor, I slipped and fell on my hip.
