    Hello,

    1. Falling down of leaves were the best thing during a video shoot.
    OR
    2. Falling of leaves were the best thing during a video shoot.

Which one of the above seems correct?

I think that if you read the site rules, context should be provided automatically...

    Here is the context,
I went to forest with my musical band for a video shoot and there we had bornfire and during video shooting leaves were falling down which was the great thing. After getting home, I was telling my brother that:
"Falling of leaves were the best thing during a video shoot"
    OR
"Falling down of leaves were the best thing during a video shoot"

We'd be more likely to say simply "falling leaves were the best..." or else "leaves falling was the best...".

Or: "The leaves falling was the best thing during the video shoot".
