fancies a spin on the DJ decks

New Member
Hi everybody,

can you help with with this?

Here is the whole sentence:

Tomislav’s been exploring Dubrovnik for 25 years, and always fancies a spin on the DJ decks.

"Fancies a spin on the DJ's decks" means that he enjoys being a DJ from time to time, or that he likes dancing at the disco?

Many thanks!

It refers to being a DJ, not dancing. Note that "always fancies" means that he always wants to - we don't know if he ever actually is a DJ (although it would be a strange thing to say if not).
