Fare la spesa insieme

Hello!

How do you say in Italian: "To do shopping with someone(Anna, Gio)"?

Is it: Fare la spesa insieme a Gio?

One more question. How do young people in Italy say "a party"?
One question/topic per thread, please. And there are already many threads about the word party. :)

Thanks a lot!

    Ciao,

    ciao
    Anna

At least in Northern Italy, 'fare (la) spesa' normally means shopping for groceries. Going shopping for clothes, etc. would be 'fare acquisti/compere/shopping'.
