Hello,

DEGRASSI - CAFETERIA -- AFTERNOON - NOON
IMOGEN smiles as she holds up two PHOTOS of DIFFERENT TRACK UNIFORMS for JACK and WINSTON.

IMOGEN:
Track Uniforms: to Lycra or not to Lycra?

JACK:
I'll call the Pulitzer committee.

WINSTON:
Equally sarcastic comment.

(Imogen drops her smile and photos in unison).

IMOGEN:
I know I'm playing the lame-game here, but fashion is my fall-back when I don't have anything juicy for DTV!

(from the serie Degrassi).

I want to make sure that I understood the sentence underlined above:
Imogen knows that she's playing a stupid game, but she's interested in fashion when there's nothing juicy for here in TV?

Tanks in advance.

When she doesn't have anything juicy (attention-catching) for DTV, she turns to issues of fashion or uses fashion as a subject. A "fall-back" is something that you fall back upon, or use as an alternative, when you don't get what you want.

I'm not sure what "DTV" here refers to.
