I think tiene is a problem in the example using the word as a verb.
It says: Lucky "favours" and it is favors

  • En BrE la palabra, sea nombre o verbo, se escribe "favour", así que no hay ningún problema.

favour [sb] (UK) vtr(give [sb] an advantage)favorecer a vtr + prep

    Hello,

Thank you for your message. As Agró has already pointed out, the spelling is correct in UK English. The UK spelling is given as well as the US spelling:

    favor [sb] (US),
    favour [sb] (UK)
    vtr
(give [sb] an advantage)favorecer a vtr + prep
dar ventaja a loc verb + prep
Luck favours those who work hard.
La suerte favorece a quienes trabajan duro.

So, there is nothing wrong with the sentence.
