I am not sure whether to use of or from in the following sentence:

The article examines Araberlin's expression of fear of/from Islamic fundamentalism.

    Fear + of
    Fear of Islamic fundamentalism.
    My niece has a fear of spiders.

    Similarly,
    Afraid + of
    My niece is afraid of spiders.
