Hi,
Steve wondered how the neighbors felt ( ) the laughter.

For the blank, which should I use, "to" or "about"?

Thank you so much.

    Thank you so much, Edinburgher.
It's surprising to know that "to" can't work because there's a sentence in my book that reads "..they reported how they felt to the laughter."
    Maybe it's just a typo.

"To" for "about" would be an unlikely typo. Maybe it's just the ignorance of the author.
