ferro puerto

Hello everybody, iam trying to find the right word to describe "Ferro puerto". the context is about "our customer will invest many million dolars to build a "ferro puerto" this means a big place to receive grain or several merchandise by train.

    First time i hear "ferro puerto". If is meant to be a non-coastal logistic hub (no ships, only ins and outs by train or truck) we call it in Spain "puerto seco". Is that what you mean?

    I´m not sure...there are ins and outs of grain mainly, and the target is reduce costs purchasing bigger quantities of raw material. so is a big train station to receive many tonnages of grain
