Hi. I need to check if "to file" means here "to place in a file or submit? Thanks.

The IT Risk Coordinator must document the checks carried out and file the relevant documentation, including any evidence examined.

    It would be unusual for it to mean "to place in a file", and I would expect it to mean "submit", but without context, I cannot tell.

    I assume that this is written in AE: in BE, "file" is rarely used to mean "submit."
