    Hi

Je suis en train de traduire 'floor layer'. C'est le travail de quelqu'un qui met en place les moquettes? (carpets and tiles etc)

    Thanks a lot!

I would say "poseur de moquette".
mettre en place une moquette = poser une moquette

Could you say "Je pose des sols"? Sounds like its carpets and other types of flooring.

I am not a specialist, but I would say no. You should precise what kind of "sol": moquette, carrelage, parquet, etc.
    - Poseur de moquette
    - Poseur de carrelage
    - Poseur de moquette

OR...maybe this could fit: "poseur de revêtement de sol". To be confirmed by a specialist.
