    salut,

comment traduirait-on "the fog of war" en français?

Est-ce qu'il y a une expression commune ou familière qu'on emploi pour indiquer l'étourdissement qu'on resens qu'on on participe aux hostilités?

    merci!

Google comes up with references to "le brouillard de guerre", but most people seem to use it in quote-marks, as a direct translation from English that still requires explanation.

FYI, Fog of war is a much-used and very old military term, for World War I etc - the difficulty in communicating on the battlefield, the confusion of battlefield conditions.

I was only talking about "brouillard de guerre". I think most of the people who know this expression, just know it from the games.
