Hi,

[When a company makes a mistake today, footprints quickly show up on its back as competition runs off with its business.]

What does this mean?

It means that the company falls to the ground, metaphorically, in failure and that other companies trample on its back as they move forward, leaving behind the company that made the mistake.

    Hi ddubug,

I would say that the business is being compared to a person (with a back). So the footprints on the back show up when the competition (with feet) runs "him" over, stealing the clients...

Does this make sense? Hope I didn't make it more confusing!

    Have a nice evening,
    joyeuse
