I JUST FELT LIKE BEING OUTSIDE FOR A LITTLE WHILE

Gracias

Exactly. THe original sentence does not indicate that there was an "out of body experience". It simply states:

I just felt like being outside for a little while

    Which would be:

It seems that "solo" is needed as the original says "I just felt..." and this leads me to think that this is in response to a question like "What are you doing out here?" Response: "Oh, I just felt like being outside for a little while".

Feel like + ing can be translated as "apaetecer", so you can perfectly say "sólo me apetecía estar afuera un ratito" for example.
