for good luck in the future and good memories of the past

Hello! I am sending a gift to a close friend in Italy with whom I spent a wonderful summer (okay, yes, I too am in love with an Italian!). The gift represents both our past together and my hope for the future, so what I want the card to say is: "for good luck in the future and good memories of the past." I have read posts about saying "in boca al lupo" but i imagine in this case, "buona fortuna" would be preferable. Could anyone help me with the rest of the translation so it sounds friendly and personable and not merely something one would say to a distant acquaintance?
