How do you express it in Russian?

    For example,
"I don't have a paper, or a pen for that matter"
"I didn't sleep today, nor did anything anyone??? for that matter."

I am not sure how we say it in Russian.
I am not sure we use a similar expression.

The expression "for that matter" is a filler, does not really carry any info, so it is hard to think of what we use in its place - may be very dissimilar.

If I wanted a filler, I would say:

"Да и, вообще-то". This is colloquial - it is not really a good idea to use space-fillers in literature.

    Examples:

"I don't have a paper, or a pen for that matter" - У меня нет бумаги, да и ручки, вообще-то, нет.

"I didn't sleep today, nor did anyone for that matter." - Я сегодня не спал, да и, в общем, все другие тоже не спали.
