Buenas noches a todos,
Os escribo porque estoy traduciendo un contrato OEM y me encuentro con la siguiente frase que me ocasiona dudas: For the greater of one year from delivery or the warranty period provided by Supplier for the relevant Supplier Products, all Supplier Products will materially conform to this Agreement. Me surgen dudas con "for the greater of one year...". Sería: ".... a contar desde la entrega o el período de garantía ofrecido por el Proveedor para los Productos del Proveedor pertinentes, todos los Productos del Proveedor se ajustarán sustancialmente al presente Contrato.

    Durante el plazo que sea mas largo: (i) un año desde la fecha de entrega o (ii) el período de garantía ofrecido por el Proveedor…

    Because the phrase is explicitly comparing two time periods; by design, one will be greater (or longer) than the other. If it were to pertain to more than two items, then greatest would be syntactically correct.
