Hi everybody,
I need to translate a LATIN expression (FORMA MENTIS), very used in Italian, into English.
I looked it up in the dictionary but without any outcome.
It indicates the way of thinking and acting of someone.
Is it used in English as well?

    The literal translation of forma mentis would be the “form/shape/nature of the mind,” but it’s not a common English expression, not one that I’m aware of. We use the terms ‘mindset’ (atteggiamento mentale) and ‘mentality’ (mentalità) to denote the mental attitude or disposition that shapes behavior.
