found out about/got informed about

Hi, everyone! I need a little help. I'm trying to apply for a job and I want to start my cover letter saying : "I've found out about this job offer through..." Does that sound correct and formal enough or I should use something like: "I've got informed about this job offer though..."

Thank you very much in advance.

I would stick with "found out about ...."

"Got informed about" sounds informal to me. To me, it also suggests that you knew about the job somehow and then searched for more information about it.

It sounds too informal to me.
I'd use "I learned about this job offer..." (in simple past tense).
I'd avoid verb contractions in the rest of your letter (I've, etc).
Good luck with the job application!
