I can't seem to get my head around the grammar of this sentence. I am trying something along the lines of:

Après une intervention, il faut que tu aies quelqu'un qui peut s'occuper de toi

I feel this may be unnecessarily clunky and over-laboured. The context is a doctor advising a patient on whom he is planning to operate.

Merci d'avance!

    Hello
Votre phrase est correcte, mais on pourrait écrire
Après ton opération,il faudra que quelqu'un s'occupe de toi.

I'd rather say : "Il faut que tu aies quelqu'un qui puisse s'occuper de toi"

but I like the Yannalan's sentence, more clear and simple.

Are you sure this doctor says "tu" to the person he is planning to operate ? Of course it can be possible, but we usually would expect "vous"...
