I'm helping a friend create a painting title in French with a cat and butterfly. It's a cat up on 2 feet near a butterfly, with the idea they're in a sort of dance.

    Our 2 choices would be:

La danse du chat et papillon, or

La danse du chat et du papillon.

To me the first choice sounds more flowing and poetic. Thanks for any input!

The first choice sounds weird to me, the second is correct.
