Hi, how do I convert the following questions into indirect speech:
«Tu as quelle marque de voiture? »
(...)
I would like to say: "He asks me what brand of car I have"
(...)
Mod note: only one topic per thread.

    So is it:

Il me demande quelle marque de voiture que j'ai.

This does not seem correct to me for some reason!

... This is because it is indeed not correct.
    A proper sentence would be:

"Il me demande quelle marque de voiture j'ai." (i.e. no need for that extra "que" in such a sentence)

If you wanted to use "que" in that sentence, you would have to make it:

"Il me demande la marque de voiture que j'ai" (i.e. using a relative pronoun and a "proposition relative", where "la marque de voiture" would be the "antécédent").

... and, by the way, welcome to this forum!
