Hi,
I am not even sure if I am asking the right question in the right place here. The following extract is from Dalida's Il pleut sur Bruxelles. I think I basically don't understand the meaning behind this song but let me start with the grammar questions:
Y a aussi la Mathilde
Qui ne reviendra plus
Et puis y a la Frida qui n'a aimé que lui
The la before Mathilde, does it stand for a general person by the name of Mathilde?
Thanks so much in advance.
