Hello, I am currently using the book 'French Structures: A Manual for Advanced Students' authored by Eric Astington. In this book (p,47), there is a section that discusses the concept of agreement following 'qui'. However, I am puzzled by the following examples:
1. Vous êtes le premier qui vous vous plaignez - You are the first to complain
2. Nous étions un petit groupe d'amis qui nous nous intéressions aux livres - We were a little group of friends who were interested in books.
Can anyone confirm if these sentences are correct? I am confused why there are two subjects 'qui' and 'vous'/'nous'
Thank you
Martin
