The republican says the book will take readers from her childhood days in Alaska through her run for vice-president.
Hello, everyone. I was just wondering if i could substitute "to" for "through" in the above context? If not, what is the difference between them? Thank you so much

If the book takes the reader to her run for vice president, it will finish as she begins her campaign.

If the book takes the reader through her run for the vice presidency, then the campaign will be included.
