Hey,

Would it be understandable if I wrote something along the lines of ''I'm sorry for my outburst. I didn't really mean it - it was probably frustration speaking through me''. If not, could you provide me with some other alternatives?

Thanks

  • "frustration speaking through me" isn't really idiomatic, no.

I'd say "I was just frustrated."'

(I'd leave out "probably" because it's inclusion would suggest that I'm not really sure if frustration was the cause of my outburst or not , thereby weakening my apology.:))
