Hi,

I’m having a spot of bother with peppers now:

PEPERONE FRIGGITELLO
Frutti di forma conico-allungata a 3 punte (12cm di lunghezza) con pericarpo liscio verde scuro.

I’m not quite sure of what is meant with "punte" here. Frigitelli seem to be long peppers that come to a point, not three points. I can see in some images perhaps a pair of small protrusions at the end which I imagine correspond to the more pronounced ones at the bottom of the lobes (I think) in bell peppers.

My best guess is that it means the ends of 3 lobes, but if that’s it, it seems a pretty strange way of putting it when they could have just written lobes.

Fruits … with three lobes?

Normalmente si definiscono trilobati, Mark, just as in English I believe.
