hello. how would you say, 'the full story' in spanish.

for example:

she said she saw what happend but she didn't tell us the full story

OR

the newspapers failed to report the full story.

es decir, todo lo que pasó

gracias

    You must to say:

    Hello all,

So in a newspaper would it be inappropriate to translate "full story" as "historia completa"? Must one always use "la noticia en detalle" in that context?

    Thanks
