Hello everyone, I've a huge doubt about what is the correct one between enabler and activator of some function/feature, or maybe the correct one is neither of those.

The context is this one:
you have a feature (e.g. a firewall) you can enable or disable. I want to put the enabling action the noun form, what's the correct one? enabler, activator, or something else?

I can't think of such a word. You would probably just say "switch" - the "on switch" the "off switch". "The audio switch is at the bottom right hand side of the screen".
