gear ratio

Hi, I'm looking for someone who usually reads bike magazines.
I'm trying to find out which is the best way to say that gear ratio (the interval between all gears in a bike) is setted in a nice way. Good gear ratio setting? Good gear ratio? space between gears is ????
Thank you.

    No problem at all:).
If "nice" does not fit for some reason, we will have to find another word or phrase, in which case we need to understand what is nice about this gear ratio.

Until you tell us, I could only propose vague alternatives:
Would easy be better for you?
    Or pleasantly easy?
    Or extremely efficient?
    Or powerful?
    Or something else still?

What I'm trying to say it is that the interval between, let's say first, second, third gear and so on gives you a good feeling when you shift, and you don't have the impression that engine power is going up and down, or that your bike seems to do any effort after shifting.

Oh dear. So this bike is a motorcycle, not a bicycle!
What about smooth-shift gear ratio, then ?
Found a good number of hits for "gear ratio smooth" in google.

Hope it helps. Now we really need native AE/BE speaking motorbikers.;)

Since we are talking about more than two gears, we should be talking of gear ratios. If these are pedal driven bikes, "comfortable" could be used. If not, "efficient", "smooth", "well spaced" and so on.
