Good evening.
Now I'm doing a grammar task, and I've got the question.
The task is to make a sentence with the gerund.
Once he was bitten by a dog. Now he doesn't remember it.
Answer in the book: He doesn't remember being bitten...

But I think that He doesn't remember having been bitten... more suitable. Am I right? How would you say?

Thank you.

Your version is also correct from a grammatical point of view, but I doubt if anyone would actually say it.

I'd vote for "He doesn't remember being bitten".

It's the act of being bitten that he doesn't remember;).
