get too entertaining

Hello,

“Handling can be nervous and unpredictable at speed and with the traction control turned down (but not off) the tail can snap. In the wet, things can easily get too entertaining. This is a car that demands respect, especially on challenging roads – and even more so in the damp.”

BMW M4 GTS (2017) review

How can I interpret “too entertaining” here?

This is typical motor journalistic language. It is considered that many people who are keen on fast cars enjoy making their cars go really fast/turn sharp corners/slide on wet surfaces. They consider this 'entertainment'. This journalist is saying that when it's wet, this car can become 'too entertaining' i.e. it goes from being exciting and fun to genuinely dangerous. It is a typical understatement and is intended to be slightly humorous.
