What is the right verb to use when referring to the process of removing the soap with water in your body when taking a shower or in your hands before meals? The nearest word in the dictionary is rinse which is applied to clothes.

Ffrancis, you don't remove the soap in your body or in your hands. The soap is "on" your body and "on" your hands. And, yes, it's perfectly normal to use "rinse" with respect to washing yourself with soap and "rinsing" the soap off.
