Give you a big hug

I made up a song to help my kids to memorize these new words in red.
The storm is awful, the storm is alwful, raindrops fall. A flash(meant to mean lightning) roars nearby, a flash roars nearby, over the field.
My tiny baby, my tiny baby, the rain has gone. Give you a big hug, give you a big hug, no more crying.

Note the words in green please. I feel give you a big hug is not fluent enough as a part of a lyric. So I want to change it for here is a big hug, but I'm not sure whether it's natural and idiomatic. Could you please give me a helping hand?
Thank you in advance

You might want to start a separate thread about "a flash roars nearby".
